Criteria on whether a windshield can be repaired vary company to company. Nu-Pro Mobile Auto Glass will only repair a windshield if it meets the following criteria:

1.  The main and most important criteria is that the crack not be on the driver’s side.  These are illegal to repair and you will not pass inspection with a repair done in the driver’s line of vision.  Not only is this a hazard for you, but a hazard to other motorists on the road.  Be leery of anyone that is willing to do a repair in your line of vision.

2.  The crack must be less than the size of a quarter.  This means the whole crack must fit underneath the quarter.

3.  The crack can not have created a hole all the way through the glass.  If so, we can not repair it, it must be replaced.

4. Chips or dings that occur inside the glass are not repairable, it must be replaced.

These are the main criteria, and after an evaluation by one of our certified professionals, it can be determined if a windshield repair or replacement is your best option.

Windshield repairs cost $85 and $15 for an additional repair on the same windshield.  We will not perform more than 2 repairs on the same windshield.
